My friend @eatsleepsass made all this in the same time it took me to chop an onion. (Taken with picplz.)
My trip to Italy last year ruined me. Munching on pizza, chowing down pasta and sipping cappuccinos back home hasn’t delight me as much since indulging on those foods across the sea. However, this past weekend my friend and fellow travel mate TK and I stopped in a bustling bakery in Minneapolis for a cappuccino.
I honestly wasn’t expecting much but upon first sip I was immediately surprised by how delicious the hot cup of cappuccino was. Sorprendente!
Rustica Bakery located near Uptown serves-up an amazing cappuccino. It was quite possibly one of the best cups of caffeinated deliciousness TK and I have ever had. Try to swing by this weekend if you have no plans this weekend or you might be near the area. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
A couple Sundays ago I had the honor of snapping a few portraits for my pal and wicked talented photographer Brie Cohen. You might recognize her from a number of my past photos I’ve shared on this blog. Brie honed her photography skills while serving as a photojournalist for the Albert Lea Tribune. Recently she decided to branch out on her own and has armed herself with a killer new Nikon camera. Check out her handy work on her website and say hi to her on Twitter.
It was a cold day but that didn’t prevent us from stopping at the Spoonbridge and Cherry to take a few snapshots.
I wish Panasonic had installed an electronic viewfinder into the camera instead of selling one as an accessory. You can’t use the electronic viewfinder accessory and a hot shoe flash together because both items plug into the same place of the camera. This design is kind of a bummer but not a deal breaker for me.
Photo snapped at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden.
Last weekend I gave my new camera a try at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. I’m liking the Panasonic GX1. It produces some fine images in RAW format.
