In preparation for our European trip, we read and carried with us a number of books by European travel expert Rick Steves. The guy has exceptionally insightful advice on where to travel, what sites to see, historical facts and how to best schedule your days. Steves has a huge following and it was bizarre to see so many fellow travelers holding a copy of Rick Steve’s books as they toured the cities. I have to admit, I thought he was a bit of a joke at first but after experiencing first hand how beneficial his advice is, I’m a believer now. You win, Rick Steves.
