The Universe has a way to remind you that life ain’t so bad. It’s timing is always impeccable too.
If you recall from my past blog post, my friends and I met a few photography students in Florence who were practicing their craft by taking photos of people on the street.
I volunteered my mug for a few snapshots and gave the young photography student my e-mail address. I figured the photo was lost to me since six months has passed and I hadn’t received it in my inbox. I assumed my bad penmanship might have inadvertently encrypted my e-mail address.
Early this week, however, as I was stressing over my school work, I received a surprise e-mail all the way from Italy. Included in it was a friendly ciao and the photo of me that the budding photog snapped at San Lorenzo Square. It’s a great capture, if I do say so myself, and perfectly timed distraction from my headaches. Grazie mille, Gabriela, for the wonderful photo!
UPDATE: Check out Gabriela’s photostream when you have the chance. Remember to say hey.
This is the last photo in my series and I think the only photo with the three of us together. Many thanks for those who have kept up with my updates, and reblogged and liked my photos. You can view this full series of photos here. Now to get back to the fun and start shooting new photos to post.
Snapped in Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site.
