We were psyched to watch the 80’s classic 16 Candles at Minneapolis’s historic Riverview Theater.
Snapped inside the Riverview Theater.

This movie proved to be valuable studying material for my European trip.
A friend turned me onto this low-budget documentary called Catfish with the request that I don’t watch any previews or read any reviews. I was weary to do so but after watching this film I’m glad I did. This was engaging within the first few minutes. It’s a fantastic documentary that truly highlights how powerful social media can be. That’s all I’ll say. So please, go rent this one and watch it. I need people to discuss this flick with because it blew me away.
Happy Holidays, everyone. After making one last trip to the grocery store, I plan to plant myself on the couch and watch some of my favorite Christmas flicks. Scrooged is a classic in my opinion. Bill Murray acting like a jerk? Yes, please. Which Christmas films do you all like to watch?
This film was a bit hokey but it made me smile a lot. Check out the trailer for White on Rice and see for yourself.
Movie Mania: I picked up the movie The Last Airbender yesterday from my nearby, and nearly defunct, Blockbuster store. I know this movie wasn’t received well in the theaters but the many people also seemed to hate M. Night Shyamalan’s movie Lady in the Water, which I thought was rather good. Hopefully this is just another hidden gem.
