Last weekend I gave my new camera a try at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. I’m liking the Panasonic GX1. It produces some fine images in RAW format.
A week ago I woke up to relatively heavy snowfall in Minnesota. A friend said it best that morning when he tweeted, “Minnesota, you crazy.”
Winter is (hopefully) winding down this week in Mpls as temperatures start climbing bit-by-bit. It was a record year of snowfall and definitely a frustratingly memorable one for yours truly. However all was not bad. One of the best moments with the snow was when I stumbled on this wonderful drawing in the snow bank while walking through the Sculpture Garden. It put a smile on my face.
Another snow storm is brewing here in Minneapolis, Minn. I was really hoping we were in the clear when the warm (40 degree) weather hit our city this week. At least the extra 10 inches means I can enjoy at least one more snowshoe outing before spring. Stay safe tomorrow fellow, Minnesotans.
These snowshoes were a bit awkward to be out in. Honestly, I didn’t like trekking around them one bit even though they looked nice.
